Thieves' Gambit

Ross Quest is a master thief but what she really wants is an ordinary life; she wants to be done with theft and heists, but that is easier said than done. Her family is renowned across the globe; other thieves may not know her face, but they know her name. When she finally tried to implement a plan to run away from her family, an unexpected turn of events leaves her mother in peril. A heist went wrong and Ross's mother, and thief, got caught and is now being held hostage.

In a desperate bid, she enters the Thieves' Gambit, a series of dangerous, international heists where killing the competition isn't exactly off limits, but the grand prize is a wish for anything in the world a wish that could save her mother. Ross tries her best to stick to the family creed: trust no one whose last name isn't Quest. But with the stakes this high, Ross will have to decide who to con and who to trust before time runs out. After all, only one of them can win.
