They practice late at night in the elementary school gym, play to empty bleachers, and lack basic equipment like uniforms and transportation. Undeterred, the team improvises by creating their own uniforms using T-shirts and electrical tape. With the guidance of a determined female coach, they overcome adversity, securing one improbable victory after another.
