The Demon Sword Asperides

The Demon Sword Asperides follows the unlikely duo of Nack Furnival, a young knight-in-training with a lot of determination but little skill, and Asperides, a demon sword who has grown tired of his centuries-old role as a soul-draining weapon. For the past two hundred years, Asperides has been dormant, guarding the body of a wicked sorcerer while his consciousness takes a break from the exhausting task of tricking humans into wielding him.

Nack, on the other hand, is desperate to prove himself as a brave and noble knight, even though he's not particularly good at it. In search of a worthy quest, Nack finds himself in need of a sword—and fate leads him to the demon blade Asperides. After an attempt to resurrect the evil sorcerer brings them together, Asperides tricks Nack into making a binding contract, becoming the sword's new owner.

The two are soon caught up in a whirlwind of adventure as they try to thwart the angry sorcerer, who has returned from the dead, and ultimately save the world. Both Asperides and Nack are forced to confront their own shortcomings, but together, they might just find the courage and strength they need to survive the dangerous path ahead.
